Metallurgical Fire Victims Of Contagion avoid the sterile sound of much modern tech death. The last track is an ambitious twelve minutes, but it manages to be the most interesting on the album. There’s doom, brutality and some great solos throughout. I never felt bored. The drumming is low profile but very proficient. Good stuff! Favorite track: Autophagous Horizons.
