thefuglychuds without sounding over-produced, this sounds amazing. beautiful textures, by which i mean heavy as fuck! Favorite track: Crown Shyness.
diablomx thumbnail
diablomx Cavernous, dark, asphyxiating death/doom. Since second 1 I felt lost, trapped in a merciless labyrinth, hunted by something lurking in every corner, watching my every move. This is atmospheric, this is heavy, obscure, and hellish. What a way to make a debut. Congratulations to Raffaele and to Satanath for this funeral jewel. Favorite track: Crown Shyness.
bmurator thumbnail
bmurator One man funeral doom metal from Italy. He has been in other bands but this is still essentially a debut, and what a fantastic debut it is! It is very crushing in places and also creates a very dark and foreboding atmosphere. Those whispered unclean vocals on "Way of Woe" are a highlight for me! If you like any kind of doom, you need this! You will not regret it! Favorite track: Way Of Woe.
mourner thumbnail
mourner And again Satanath Records brings great doom over mankind. Great melodies and tons of dark atmosphere. Beautiful music to get lost in.
H.L. thumbnail
H.L. Funeral doom is just the right genre when you want to get lost into music, when you need some atmospheric background sound while reading stories from H. P. Lovecraft or for taking a dark power nap. SHAMAEL present a monumental and massive example, with a fine mysterious and spheric keyboard layer. The songs do not differ significantly, but catchiness or groovy sing-a-longs are not the target here anyway. It is all about atmosphere! Favorite track: Leaf.
