H.L. GVORN immediately caught me with the outstanding pre-order track "Sounds from the Crypt", an epic funeral doom monster. This majestic track is extremely insistent and catchy, two attributes I often miss in the genre even when the atmosphere is right. The rest of the album does not have the same impact on me yet (Exception: "Pass of the Dead") but I am working at it by heavy rotation of the album. Funeral Doom fans can't get around GVORN, for me they made it from zero to masters of the genre! Favorite track: Sounds From The Crypt.
