Jarak I saw this described as blackened death metal, which I would agree with. This leans more heavily into the death metal part of things than most BDM, though, with only a small influence from black metal. Think Belphegor, or Hate if they went a little more to pure DM. You can hear the drums strongly on this album (I approve).

Nekobibu Very good album! Punishing and relentless death metal with a definite taste for epic, often oriental-inspired melodies. This is fast and crushing 95% of the time but it also lets you breathe from time to time... Not for long, though. Makes me want to fight gigantic animated statues with a bunch of sailors or something.
